Fabulous Punk Attitude

I finished a new t-shirt and backpack last night and just got them listed in my Etsy Shop.  I have received many requests over the past few days for larger sizes of my t-shirts as all the ones I have listed so far have been small.   So this new shirt is a large fitted tee and so that is why it appears so baggy on my dress form (my dress form is a small so it doesn't quite fit properly in the pic)

As for the backpack, the painting on it will look familiar as I posted it a few days ago available in print and I think I mentioned at that time that I would be sewing it to a backpack soon.   I know in the pics it is hard to read the quote in the painting, it says "It is better to be hated for what you are then to be loved for what you're not!"

Oddball Art Co Apparel

This t-shirt has been designed and hand painted by me in my studio with my original big eye zombie artwork.  This shirt is a tank top style in black, size small and is just the first of many more to come.

I actually have 3 others here finished but I found out yesterday that the white shirts and pink shirts were rather difficult to get great photos of so I can not post them just yet.   But for now here is the black one...

Big Juicy Tears Is Now Riding On Your Back!

I've been talking about it and now I can finally show you what has been in the works!  I have been working on designing a whole line of hand painted / handmade fashion and accessories and I now have the first piece done!

I designed, handmade and then hand painted this backpack with my original zombie character the sad and broken hearted Moe holding his broken heart in his hands and saying "I Don't Want It Anymore!" from the popular Big Juicy Tears of Blood & Pain series.

It features the slingbag design with a drawstring top that doubles as the backpack straps. Lightweight, stylish and perfect for a variety of uses. This backpack is lined with a red and black patterned fabric with 2 inside pockets, one small size that is just the perfect size for your Iphone/Ipod or any other cellular device, the larger pocket measures 9.5" tall by 6.5" wide and is on the opposite side from the smaller pocket to hold whatever you wish.

The entire bag measures 19" tall by 14" wide perfect for your books for back to school or for a change of clothes when you aren't planning on coming home that night, or whatever you decide to put in it.

This months Etsian Artists Art Party prompt was TIMELESSNESS.  To be honest I had too many ideas running through my head for this one.  Too many, because I am so indecisive and that made it way too hard to narrow it down to just one. lol  As you can see in the above pics, the idea I finally decided upon is inspired by one of my all time fav bands from the 80's Berlin and one song in particular called Dancing In Berlin!  The reason I chose this song for inspiration for this prompt is for many reasons but one in particular because even though this song came out in 1987 it is still in my top playlists here in 2012 and will continue to be forever!  In my opinion it is certainly a timeless hit and Berlin is a timeless band!  For this painting I used a great youtube video for a very rare dance remix of Dancing in Berlin, the video is a slideshow of some fabulous pics and I am sure if you have a peek you will see how they inspired this painting.  Check out the video below...
