Love Them Hit Showtime Specials!

As the title mentions, I do love those hit Showtime specials!  This portrait that I just finished is of Dexter from the show of the same name!  If you don`t know Dexter in a nutshell he is a blood splatter analysist working for the forensics unit in law enforcement, he is also a self appointed visual anti who kills off all the bad men ie. murderers and rapists.  He usually tries to get to them before his crime unit does and locks them up where he can`t get to them. lol  

Dexter is an amazing show and he is an amazing character! I really enjoyed painting this portrait of him which is now listed for sale in my Etsy Shop.  This portrait was painted in the finest premium acrylics on a Gallery Wrapped stretched canvas 16"x16"x1.5" all of the sides have been painted white with just the right amount of blood splatter on both sides and the bottom.  Finally the entire piece has been sealed with a glossy acrylic varnish and is ready to hang.
