Greeting Cards

I'm just loving painting these cute little scenes for Christmas greeting cards which are now available through my Etsy Shop. I now have 3 designs done and I am starting the next set tonight. The first 3 were all birds but tonight I have a few very cute ideas involving bears. See the first 3 designs below...

10 Ways To Release The Creativity From Within...

Visit Art Galleries or Exhibitions as often as possible.
Try thinking about daily things in rhymes, it will help broaden your vocabulary which is especially usefull for creative writing.
Change your routine, i.e. drive a different route to work, go some where else for lunch.
Open your eyes and actually look at everything around you, you'll be surprised what you see.
Every once in a while try to do something that you enjoyed doing as a child, try to release the child from within, children are after all the most creative beings out there.
Clear your mind at least once a day, if you don't have a clear mind you won't have room for creativity.
Make sure you ask yourself an out of the ordinary question each and every day. i.e. What if the grass grew purple?
Try picturing your life as it if it were a movie or novel, what would happen next? Who would you meet?
Talk to someone or some people that you normally would ignore, they might have something interesting to say.
Carry a pocket sketch book with you always and note interesting things.
