Darling Divine Art of the Avant Garde

Well, it is quickly approaching and so I wanted to make sure I formally invited everyone to our opening reception of Darling Divine Art of the Avant Garde April 14th at 5pm - 9pm.  All 3 artists will be in attendance as well we will have complimentary Wine, Beer and Hors d'oeuvre for our guests. I hope you all can make it that night but if you can't the artwork will be on display for the entire week of April 14th thru to the 20th.

Let me introduce you to the 3 featured artists...

The artwork of Lizzy Love is described as a perfect combination of sweet and sour that glitters up the grunge! After spending months in her Oddball Art Co. studio painting and sewing, Lizzy is thrilled to present her whimsical dream world which is easily recognizable by her signature style of creepy yet cute. From the haunting darkness, to the rainbowtastic, Lizzy's creations are lovingly sprinkled with a heartbreaking sweetness.

Crystal Feetham of Elektric Honey is a local graphic artist who wants to take her work to new extremes! She is an artist of many mediums and is now taking Photography, Makeup, Hair Styling, Costume Design, and of course Graphic design, and stirring them all together to create artistic photographs! She wants to take photography to a new artistic level and the series she will be putting together for this show, The Porcelain Dolls "Broken Hearted", is no exception. This series will be expressing the many different stages of emotions one goes through following a heart break.

Piera's whimsical and vibrant watercolor and acrylic paintings are a result of self taught Chinese brush stroke, a passion for mixed media, and a vast love of the outdoors and animals. Her one of a kind, lovingly hand made, upcycled jewelry is worn by the young and not so young. Piera sees beauty in everything and was once described by a friend as having a "Child-like interest in nature". Her series for this show is feminine and quirky, and very colorful!
